Porsche retrofit compatibility depends on the original infotainment system, screen layout, vehicle year and factory options. AutoMMI offers separate solutions for PCM 3.0, PCM 3.1, PCM 4.0 and CDR 3.0 systems. Please confirm the original Porsche screen and main menu before ordering.

PCM 3.0 2009-2013 selected Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne and Panamera models. Original Porsche PCM 3.0 navigation system. Not for PCM 2.1, PCM 3.1, PCM 4.0 or CDR systems.
CDR 3.0 Selected 2010-2016 Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Panamera and Macan models. Factory 6.5-inch CDR 3.0 colour screen. Check the menu and buttons because some early or later vehicles use a different CDR version.
PCM 3.1 Selected 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Panamera and Macan models, commonly covering approximately 2010-2017 vehicles. Original Porsche PCM 3.1 system and compatible factory display are required.
PCM 4.0 2016-2019 selected Porsche 911, 718 Boxster, 718 Cayman, Cayenne, Panamera and Macan models. Original PCM 4.0 system. Not for PCM 3.0, PCM 3.1, CDR systems or later PCM 5.0 and PCM 6.0 systems.

What to Confirm Before Ordering

Porsche vehicles from similar model years may use different factory infotainment systems. A model year alone is not enough to select the correct interface.

  • Vehicle model and model year.
  • Original Porsche screen photo.
  • Main menu or system information photo.
  • Whether the system is PCM or CDR.
  • VIN, if available.
