AutoMMI ABOX-BM is a 3-in-1 wireless CarPlay Android box for vehicles with factory wired Apple CarPlay. Many factory vehicles already have wired CarPlay, but using a cable every trip can be inconvenient and the original system may not offer a full Android app environment. ABOX-BM connects to the vehicle’s existing wired CarPlay USB or USB-C port and gives compatible users a wireless connection option plus a separate Android system.
Wireless use
Leave the cable behind: wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are designed for compatible phones after pairing. Use supported maps, calls, messages, music and voice functions through the factory display.
Android mode
A separate Android 13 environment: use compatible Android navigation, music and streaming apps directly on the box. Add internet through a supported 4G SIM card or a compatible phone hotspot.
Personalised view
Flexible interface tools: arrange compatible app icons, use adjustable split-screen ratios of 3:7, 5:5 or 7:3, and select from four RGB ambient-light modes: Gradient, Single, Breathing and Waterfall.
More connections
Beyond the dashboard: built-in GPS, HDMI output, SIM / TF-card expansion and wireless screen mirroring on compatible devices add flexibility for travel, rear-seat entertainment and parked use.

The one requirement that matters most
Your vehicle must already have factory wired Apple CarPlay.
Compatibility requirement: ABOX-BM is for vehicles with original factory-installed wired Apple CarPlay through USB or USB-C. It does not add CarPlay to vehicles that do not already have wired CarPlay, and it may not work with aftermarket head units unless their wired CarPlay function is factory-equivalent and compatible.
Before ordering, please confirm: your vehicle make, model, model year and that your original infotainment system can run wired Apple CarPlay. A clear photo of the CarPlay connection screen or vehicle infotainment menu is recommended for fitment confirmation.
