Audi MMI 2G 3G MIB MIB2 CarPlay Decoder Module adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to qualifying Audi vehicles with the original factory colour MMI display. It keeps the original head unit and screen in place, so drivers can modernise smartphone connectivity without changing the dashboard appearance.
System first. Vehicle model second. Audi used multiple MMI systems, screens and connector layouts within the same model family. Therefore, this module must match the original MMI main menu and screen configuration—not only the model name or model year.

Do not use this kit with factory wired or wireless Apple CarPlay, MIB3 systems, MMI Touch Response systems, aftermarket Android replacement screens, basic monochrome displays, or Concert / Chorus radio systems without a central colour MMI display.
The kit also does not fit Audi R8, Audi TT or Virtual Cockpit-only configurations without a central MMI screen.
