THE OEM iDRIVE APPROACH
Keep the iDrive character. Bring the phone experience forward.
First, this interface keeps the original BMW display and iDrive navigation system in the vehicle. Then, it connects a compatible iPhone or Android phone to the factory screen. As a result, you can access supported smartphone navigation, music, calls and messaging functions without replacing the OEM dashboard display.
Meanwhile, the original CCC or CIC iDrive interface remains available whenever you need factory navigation, radio, media or vehicle settings. You can switch between the smartphone interface and the original iDrive menus as required. Therefore, the module adds modern connectivity while the original BMW operating environment stays familiar.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Use this kit with: a 2004–2013 BMW 1 Series E81, E82, E87 or E88 with original CCC or CIC iDrive navigation, a NAVI / MAP button and the original 6.5-inch colour screen.
Do not use this kit with: 2011+ BMW 1 Series F20/F21 vehicles, basic non-iDrive audio systems without navigation, aftermarket replacement touchscreens or non-OEM audio systems.
